Megan Ritch is the Manager of Diversity & Inclusion and SafeSport Education at USA Triathlon. She has been with USA Triathlon for almost eight years, focusing on specifically Diversity & Inclusion and SafeSport Education for the last year. In her current role, Megan manages program development focusing on growing women’s engagement in multisport, building USA Triathlon’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities engagement initiative, Inclusive policy development, and growing SafeSport educational opportunities and resources throughout USA Triathlon’s constituent groups. In 2018, Megan piloted the effort to develop USA Triathlon’s first official transgender athlete participation policy. Since taking on her role in Diversity & Inclusion, USA Triathlon has been recognized by the United State Olympic and Paralympic Committee, receiving the Advancement in Diversity Award (2017) and the National Governing Bodies’ Diversity & Inclusion Choice Award (2018). In addition to her work with USA Triathlon, Megan works with the International Olympic Academy, serving as a Coordinator for the International Session for Young Participants, held annually in Olympia, Greece.
