Triny an ambassador for Coeur Sports , Newton Running, and USAT triathlon. She is also a wife, a mom of 5, a cyclist, and an 8X Ironman finisher.
Last year, Triny was struck from behind by a truck while riding her bike. She was hospitalized for 6 days and sustained over 12 fractures and a punctured lung. It is a miracle not only that she survived but that she was able to recover. Shortly after the crash, Triny was given the amazing honor by Women for Tri to be their Inspirational Woman of the Year and was granted a spot to participate in the Ironman World Championship representing them. She managed to complete Kona and fundraised close to $32,000. Triny has always chosen to focus on what she can do opposed to what she can’t.
Triny recognizes there is an urgency for change in the narrative between cyclists and drivers. She ahs testified in front of Congress and has witnessed the law change. Triny decided to create a campaign to ignite change: she wants all cyclists to be seen for who they are. #itcouldbeme
